Our feedback after our pitch

After our pitch presentation, we handed out feedback sheets to our audience to gather opinions and ideas about our pitch to see how we could improve our ideas in order to create a better music video. The feedback we received was positive and negative which helped for us to know which areas we could improve as a group to create a better performance. The feedback we received is below:

The positive feedback:

"Good different idea that fits the song"
"I like the genre"
"I like the locations"
"I like the band name, very clear and set ideas, well researched"
"location fits with genre"
"unusual band name"
"Using real drums"
"Getting over issues you have had (missing member)"
"The performance element (replication)"
"The assortment of locations"
"Band name is cool!!!"
"Locations as inspirational ideas are good and they match the genre, this also works when matched to it being performance"
"Good idea using a real drummer as he knows what he's doing"
"Environment matches the song choice"
"Styling would be good to have due to the group wearing the same kind of clothes outside of the video"

The negative feedback:
"Security issues when filming in certain places"
"If involving a car, then it would look better on the road"
"Video needs to be unique when compared to original"
"Hard filming locations"
"Think about lighting in outside locations"

Mr Ford's feedback:

- "Be careful with the security in carparks"
- "I like the idea"

After receiving all the feedback from our audience, we looked through and decided what we thought would benefit us as a group. We decided to ignore some feedback as it was irrelevant to us as we are focusing on the Indie genre. We decided to ignore negative feedback such as "Filming hard locations" as we have already overcame this due to us already doing some filming during the summer holidays with our group in locations which we wished to use for our music video. Another comment we chose to ignore was positive feedback such as "Band name is cool" as it doesn't help us in anyway but it is good to know that our audience thought that our band name is creative and out of the box compared to other band names.
